Location
Our venue is located in the beautiful village of Menthon-Saint-Bernard on Lake Annecy.
The wedding party will be staying in the town of Annecy for the majority of the trip, moving to Le Palace De Menthon for the night of the wedding.
The nearest airport is Geneva with regular flights from the UK.
There are plenty of private transfer options such as 3Valley, Mountain Drop-offs & Annecy Taxi.
Bla Bla Bus operates pre-booked services between Geneva airport and Annecy.
On your arrival journey we would recommend leaving at least one hour to allow for getting through passport control and baggage collection. From Geneva airport arrivals follow the signs for ‘Coach station’. See pinned Google Maps location here.
Transport
Getting around the lake:
There are a number of local taxi firms that offer transport via road as well as a local bus service.
Uber operates in Annecy, however for travel to and from the wedding venue we would recommend pre-booking a taxi Annecy Taxi.
Compagnie des Bateaux provides sightseeing cruises and shuttles (Navibus) between the various landing stages on Lake Annecy

To benefit from greater restaurant options and activities, we would recommend staying in Annecy.
If you wish to be closer to the venue on the wedding night Menthon-Saint-Bernard or Talloires (5 minute drive) are beautiful but quieter.

FAQs
What is the menu?
We have a set dinner menu which we will leave as a surprise, but any dietary requirements have been catered for.
How do we get to and from the venue?
Although Uber is available we would still recommend pre-booking a taxi Annecy Taxi. The wedding night celebrations will be coming to an end between 11:30pm - midnight.
What is the dress code?
Black tie optional. We request that gentlemen wear a tuxedo or a dark suit. Ladies dress to impress, avoiding white or cream.
Are there rooms available at the venue?
Yes, Le Palace De Menthon is a gorgeous and convenient accommodation option for the wedding night or weekend. The wedding party will be staying in Annecy for the majority of the trip, moving to the venue for the night of the wedding. What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Arrival is from 2:30pm for a 3pm ceremony start.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
We're hoping for an outdoor ceremony and drinks reception, moving indoors for the evening.
Will there be other events to attend over the wedding weekend?
Yes these are optional so please drop by no RSVP required - see itinerary details on the page above.
If you are staying overnight at the venue on the night of the wedding please feel free to join us on Monday 25th August. We will be celebrating Annabel's birthday and swimming off our hangovers at the hotel's lakeside beach from midday onwards!
